You paste a public link, pick a format, and the file streams from the original platform to your device.

Yes. Every tool on the site is free and there is no subscription, no credit system and no paywall. The site is funded by display advertising, and an optional API key plan exists for developers who need higher request limits — the web downloader itself never asks you to pay.

No. Everything runs in the browser tab, on desktop and mobile. There is no extension, no APK and no sign-up. The only optional account feature is the developer API and its usage dashboard, which you never need for normal downloads.

You get whatever the source exposes. Public YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion videos commonly offer 1080p; TikTok serves a single watermarked-free MP4 at its native resolution; Instagram usually caps at 1080p. We never upscale a file or label a re-encode as 4K — if a format is not in the picker, the platform does not publish it publicly.

Yes. On any supported video page switch the format to MP3, or use the dedicated YouTube to MP3, SoundCloud and Spotify tools. Audio is re-encoded server-side at 128–320 kbps depending on what the source track provides, so a low-bitrate original stays low-bitrate.

TikTok and Douyin-style platforms are fetched from the no-watermark playback endpoint whenever it is reachable, so most TikTok saves come out clean. If a platform only publishes a watermarked file — Snapchat and some Instagram reposts do — that is what you receive. We do not paint our own logo on anything.

The three usual causes are: the post is private or friends-only, the link is a page rather than a media URL (an Instagram profile instead of a post), or the platform is rate-limiting the request from our server. Private content can never be fetched. For anything else, wait ten seconds and retry — transient CDN errors clear up quickly. Supported-but-failing platforms are listed honestly on each tool page rather than hidden.

No. The downloader only reaches content that is publicly playable without logging in as you. Private accounts, friends-only posts, deleted media and login-walled or age-gated videos will return an error rather than a file. Pages on this site that cover 18+ platforms are behind an age gate and follow the same rule.

No. Files are streamed through from the source to your browser and are not written to permanent storage. We keep no copy, no library and no history of your downloads. Our access logs record request paths and status codes for abuse prevention and are rotated out regularly.

Downloading a video you own, a file published under a permissive licence, or content you have the right to archive is generally fine. Re-uploading someone else's video, stripping attribution, or downloading paid content is not. Rules differ by country and by each platform's terms of service — check them, and use the tool for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Yes. The site is a responsive web app, so Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android both work. On iPhone the file lands in the Files app under Downloads; on Android it goes to the Downloads folder. No TestFlight build, no sideloading and no jailbreak required.

There is no daily quota and no per-file size cap. There is a concurrency limit: a fixed number of jobs run at once, so during busy hours a request can queue and occasionally return a 'server busy' message. Retrying after a few seconds almost always succeeds, because a slot frees up as soon as the previous transfer finishes.

Speed is bounded by the source platform's CDN and your own connection, not by us. Analysis usually takes under two seconds, and the transfer itself runs at several megabytes per second for most public videos. Large 1080p files take proportionally longer because the whole file has to be pulled before your browser saves it.

Yes. There is a documented HTTP API with an analyze endpoint and a download endpoint, plus API keys with usage tracking. The free key tier is enough for testing and small projects. Full request and response formats are on the API documentation page linked in the footer.

Yes. Instagram photos, Stories and Highlights, Pinterest pins at original resolution, profile pictures, album and cover art are all supported through their own tools under the Image category. The same paste-and-analyze flow applies — image links resolve to the original file rather than a compressed thumbnail.
